DO YOU LIKE MINI'S?

We have all heard the saying, "good things come in small packages," so I decided to make a few mini ornaments and I think they are just as cute as can be.
A set of three mittens, painted a creamy white with pink on the cuff, sugared with German glass glitter and decorated with paper roses.

I think one of these would also look perfect on a gift package or for a teachers gift too!

Speaking of a gift for teacher, or maybe a hostess gift, how cute is this set of mini snowmen. I probably should call them snow people with their pink and white paper roses....HA! These are ornaments and have ribbon hangers, but they are only about 3 or 4" high. They come in a vintage jello mold which I have painted a beautiful pink and then added some snowy glitter. They make a great gift or decoration for a small tree too.

Although this sweet trio of Santa boots are not minis, I wanted to include them in this post. Two pink and two white make up the set. All are painted, iced and then sugared with German glass glitter for a holiday sparkle. Decorated with roses that have been handmade from paper. What a lovely hostess gift as well as hanging on your tree.

Each boot lovely made and decorated by me. I hope you enjoy a peek at what I have been up to this past week.

If you happen to be seeing this post today, Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. My wish for you is safety, warmth and the love of family along with some great tasting food!! Lets all be grateful this season for our friendships and what we have been blessed with.

This sweet pair of snowmen are just so shabby and sweet. Wood, painted, sugared and then decorated just in time for the holidays.

I love creating these little goodies for you. I am trying my hand at painting roses and have been doing quite a bit of practicing. I hope to unveil my talents very soon......I will keep you posted.

YUMMY COOKIES ON A PEDESTAL PLATE

A trio of yummy faux cookies, decorated and presented to you on a beautiful pedestal plate.
Years ago I was watching an episode of the Carol Duval show on DIY when they had a guest speaker that shared her secret for creating lovely pedestal plates. This is one of those that I created using a gorgeous vintage plate and a glass candle stick.

Pretty faux cookies in my favorite color, yellow and decorated with paper roses and a paper pansy. This one of a kind display would be so pretty in any setting, kitchen, dining room or any room of the home.

Don't you think this looks good enough to eat!!??

Not only is yellow my favorite color, but these cookies look perfect with this lovely plate. These will be available on my website someplace in thyme later today.

TRIO OF SNOW WOMEN

A sweet trio of snow people for your holiday decorating. Made of heavy cardboard, these sweeties have been painted, sugared with german glass glitter and decorated......

White paper roses and pink and white roses on the hat, this snow person is the only one of the trio with arms. A white satin ribbon bow at the neck.

This is a snowlady for sure with her faux pearls, pearls around her hat and a ribbon bow. She is a delight and as with the other two, she hangs 10" including the hanger.

These would be adorable on the tree, but thinking outside the box, each one would make a lovely teacher's gift or decoration on a package....very shabby and sweet. I hope you enjoy them, they will be available on my website later today.

CHRISTMAS STOCKING WITH ROSES

Can you believe it's only 54 days until the Christmas Holidays?! I am still pinching myself trying to wrap my head around it. Times goes faster and faster each year.
I have started creating my one of a kind stockings for my website and my etsy shop. I finished this beauty just this morning.
I have tried to find more of this gorgeous fabric, but to no avail. If anyone knows where I can obtain some more, I would appreciate the heads up. SOLD, thank you!!

I don't know how long I have had this beautiful image or where I bought it, but she is just too beautiful for words. The fabric has a texture look to it, similiar to the weave used for cross-stitch. She is so pretty and her hat is just gorgeous. I used a little bit of sparkle on her hat and also around the pearls of her necklace. The image is bordered with a vintage venise lace.

As if the stocking wasn't pretty enough, you have to have some roses and pearls too. I hope you have enjoyed my offering today.
I am working on some large snowmen and hope to have them ready for show this week. To be continued.
